Monday Start Day! Lucky week #3 !!!
Hello, Lovah’s!
It has been precisely one month (and now one day) since I posted my first blog…I BELIEVE it is time to take this a bit more seriously & follow through with a promise and plan to stay connected, get Healthy & Happy! First and Foremost meet the Skinny’s:
TiTi – The eldest of the 4 Gurns. Titi lives in St. Augustine, FL is currently employed by Georgia Pacific as a chemical engineer, married her one true love Other Brother Bill (happy 3rd anny this past July!) and welcomed sweet baby Prince William on April 7, 2011! TiTi enjoys travel, ALABAMA football -- ROLL TIDE, musicals, shopping on occasion, salt water relaxation, READING,zero yard work of any kind, her family puppy BEAU (most handsome/energetic, BOXER) church life, small group & pot luck with local friends, cooking new recipes, Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni, knitting blankets, playing cards, White wine please & thank you, planning family vacations, her Ca$h cow LUNA, decorating for CHRISTMAS and perusing the internet for anything/everything to keep us all entertained! TiTi follows weight watchers online with her husband, and has already lost all baby weight + a few pounds! She aspires to walk/run a 5k and eventually train for a half marathon. The nickname TiTi was lovingly established by her 1st baby sister…Ashi
Ashi – Free spirited and the only blonde of the bunch; Ashi lives in Tallahassee, FL and works on the pediatric floor of TMH as a registered Nurse. Since her graduation @ UCF in 2005 she has received numerous prestigious awards and recognition for her hard work and dedication to her profession. Ashi enjoys: Travel, the SALT LIFE @ sweet home Keaton Beach, scalloping, karaoke, playing tennis, TMH softball, bible study, reading, REALITY TV, going to the movies, MASA, dancing of any kind, working on her tan, Florida State Football, shopping on all occasions, gypsy jewels, anything peacock or MERMAID, visiting St. Augustine, baby prince William & Anthropologie,ZERO love for pets/animals of any kind, country music concerts, beer on the ocean - wine @ dinner & brown water for a night on the town! Tri-Delt’s just wanna have fun!!! Ashi played all sports in high school: tennis, soccer, volleyball, powder puff football & is looking forward to incorporating exercise/healthy habits into our adult lives. Ashi initiated get healthy/happy at the beginning of 2011 with Bistro MD, a recent attempt @ Medifast, and now will accomplish her WONDERLAND goal (notice the back ground of the blog theme) by Faith, Following Strict Diet/Exercise regimen, & Family/Friend Support! Ashi’s best friend, Shanna a designated (5th sister) has decided to blog as well. We all look forward to encouraging one another…Ashi’s nickname has various derivations: perhaps first termed from Perry favorite, Surando – but also shared by countless children she has helped nursing @ TMH and Pediatria. Ashi shares in her title as Middle Child Mermaid Soul Sister with: ME!
#3 is ME! Nomadic and homeless @ heart, I have lived in Tampa, Keaton Beach, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Perry, and Tallahassee (twice) since my graduation from The Florida State University in 2008. Fortunately, I took a major risk and landed the job “a million girls would die for” as a Retail Therapist/Boutique Manager of Tallahassee’s Voted BEST locally owned shop & BEST shop for clothing, shoes, and accessories – 3 years and counting!!! Visit me on Thomasville Rd. & 6th street, or shop online (coming soon) www.colecouture.com It’s a Cole Couture World, After All <3 It is not uncommon for me to be in at least 3-4 cities/towns per week, hence I share in my sister’s love of Travel. In September 2010 I welcomed my BFF from high school, 1st baby girl, Layla Kate, and then in April (lucky #7) 2011 I became Aunt SHUG to baby prince, William Randall! Besides work & traveling to see my favs, I enjoy CHURCH, online www.fbcjax.com and in the sanctuary of 1st Presbyterian, Perry FL or FBC of Tallahassee or FBC of Cordele GA, you get the picture… spending time with my family, <3 DBW, sending and receiving hand written notes, attempting to learn bridge, acing FreeCell almost every time, and counting cards in Spades & a game of Rummy every now and then just for kicks! Obvs, I like playing cards…J’adore – anything on the salt water, BAMA football – Saban is Sexy! OPI nail polish, tennis, collecting old furniture/books/jewelry, I love anything that tells a story. I have a strong desire to begin volunteer work with Hospice, start my own non-profit, author my 1st book, and start my own company. I consider myself a full-time Day Dreamer. My hair is naturally curly, but generally I straighten it every day – regardless, it’s always messy! Whiskey, diet, limes please & Wine on Sundays! Aside from maintaining this blog and motivating my fav girls I would like to better myself each day to reach my Definite Purpose. I plan on working exercise back into my routine through tennis, walking/running, yoga & meditation, SWEAT THERAPY (www.sweattherapyfitness.com) and balancing work & play. My other interests include but are not limited to: southern hospitality, celebrating ½ birthday’s, SCUBA diving w Daddy, power napping, SNOOTY the manatee, driving with the sun roof open and one leg in the seat, Dolce & Gabbana light blue, coffee catch up's w DiNana, Grady-White, all things leather, strawberries, having my arm tickled, polite manners, my BFF Mrs. Ruth Lynch & her hubby she stole from another woman, Dan Lynch (she is 85+ and he hit 90 this past V-day!) KAΘ Alumni and TBC member for life…No THANK YOU to broken promises, socks, mayonnaise!!!Why no nickname ending in “I” – I am the only girl whose biological name does not end in “Y” Why you may ask? I have no idea, I just thank you FATHER for making me, ME! The most notable similarity between the 4 of us is our BROWN EYES, and the biggest doe eyes (at times Lethal Eyes) belong to the 4th & final, KANDI <3
Kandi – the baby of 4 Peas in a Pod & an Acorn; KBaby is loved, adored, and spoiled by both parents & all 3 older sisters. We would not have it any other way…Kandi (named by HLS in high school and adopted by TCHS students/friends/& family) – Kandi has a strong love for Candy, or just sugar in general! Other nicknames include but not limited to: K, KBaby, Petite, Petite Bebé, Cotney, Coco, Lil Randy, Lil Boo-kdey, Quarter, Quarter Pounder, and the list goes on…Known for her perfect tan, and to die for body, Miss TCMS Teacher’s student once told her “You so skinny, you must do-do all day long!” Yes, her love for raw cookie dough & rice krispie treats for breakfast, & reese’s pbutter cup addiction have yet to effect “High Hiney’s” metabolism. An inspiration for treating your body as a temple, the baby is committed to joining our team for a healthy future. K graduated from the University of Florida in 2009 in Health Sciences, and now teaches at TCMS with our beloved mother. In her spare time Kandi enjoys: life on the salt water & river, hanging out with FRIENDS, church @ Crosspoint, $aving and $pending, Toyota 4-runners, collecting bathing suits, getting her tan on, Cruising the seas, taking lots of pictures, eating Candy/Frozen Yogurt/Strawberries covered in Powdered Sugar – sometimes hold the berry! Kickball, Monday Dinner Nights, Sugar Sweet Moscato Wine, frozen margaritas, sourappletini’s or bud-lite lime please! <3 the month of OCTOBER & the Florida Forest Festival, GATOR football, Shopping & MOVIES in Tallahassee, traveling (even to the grocery store) with her pink security blanket,NO THANK YOU to milk, potatoes, or SWEET tea?!? Opening Christmas Cards before anyone else, still getting SANTA @23, attempting to watch movies @ home but falling asleep instead, soccer, tennis, card & board games, loving baby prince William, “being” the baby herself!
